So my Twitter friend Ginny posted a challenge on her blog...well not being one to pass up a challenge I had to accept..here is a list of 10 random facts about me:
- When I retire I plan to live in Charleston, SC...parts of my family are from that wonderful city and I can't see myself living anywhere else..
- My favorite TV show as a kid was "Welcome Back Kotter"...I would pay almost any amount for a complete DVD set with every episode...
- I am totally addicted to Stawberry Twizzlers...I always keep a bag around to nibble on...however I only like the strawberry flavor...I can't stand any of the other flavors..I guess there are worse things to be addicted to, right?
- I am a total book geek and will read almost anything I can get my hands on...my girlfriend picks on me cause I will take hour long baths due to reading while relaxing in the tub
- I also collect road & state maps...I have a growing collection of maps from every state I have visited plus some international maps from friends and family...I even collect aeronautical aviation maps...and somehow because I am a guy I still manage to get lost while on trips *sigh*
- Some of my fondest memories from childhood include spending time with my grandmother in Anderson, SC...she would let me snack on Nilla Wafers and drink Coke in the small glass bottles while watching the original Muppet Show..side note: My great-grandfather was mayor of Anderson, SC...
- Taking up space on my Ipod I have almost every song recorded by both the Doobie Brothers (including Michael McDonald years) and Hall & Oates...in some ways i do miss the days of 8 tracks & cassettes..
- My first vehicle as a teenager was a 1979 Toyota Corolla nicknamed "The Banana" because it had a bright yellow paint job...sad thing is it was probably all around a better automobile than my current 2000 Chevy Cavalier...
- In middle school I was in the school band and I played the Alto Saxophone..someday I hope to buy a new Alto Sax and pick up where I left off...
- As a snack I love Bagel Bites...quick and easy to make and good to eat!
I don't really know if anyone will read this but feel free to make your own "Tag" post on your blog and let me know about it!
Have a great afternoon!
